Keep a journal/blog

I have had a lady that in the past year and a half or so has become a good friend. She would visit with me and loved to be around my children. She would be excited for me when things went well and she would be a shoulder to lean on when things got tough. She has on repeated occasions suggested I keep a journal or a blog about my "interesting" life events. I have finally decided to attempt that. This blog is mostly going to be me rambling about the silly things I encounter on a day to day basis.

Squirrels in my attic!! Yes you heard me I have had squirrels living/ nesting in my attic for over two years. They are creating a colony, I fear if I were to shoot my ceiling down like in ratatouille I'd have an infestation like the old lady! How did I come to have squirrels as my house guests you ask, well it is simple really., a hole in the roof going un fixed (because a certain man chose to ignore it) allowed access into my very warm and cozy attic. Throw in a neighbor with a squirrel feeder  in his yard and you have squirrel heaven!! I've become accustomed to the scampering I hear on a daily basis. But I would appreciate if the squirrels would vacate my home and leave me in peace. The roof has since been fixed but the soffit and fasia need to be replaced so the squirrels can still get in unfortunately.

We moved from this home to live in Oregon for about 8 months right after our third baby was born. Literally right after piper was born, Graydon left me with a 4 day old baby and two little boys. Once we all were reunited I was excited to live in a rodent free home.
Not so fast my life soon encounters another furry friend. Our rental in Oregon was filthy!! I cleaned till I couldn't stand to clean anymore. One night Jackson heard scratching and clawing and banging around under the floor boards. Well we now had furry friends under us not above us. A big huge nasty RAT!!! gave me the creeps! It sounds like he was going to come right through the floor, luckily the situation was remedied and we were rodent free!!
My squirrel infested home is still sheltering these fugitives but soon very soon I think the tides will turn.
